Just Trippin'

So this world is real sick it’s dying from cancer
Turn on the news they have a verdict but not the answer
Black faces and white faces share the same looks of disgust
And do not associate one another with the word ‘us’
Injustice for one is injustice for all
And yet they point the finger at each other while the flies on the wall
Attracted to the lingering smell of desiccated flesh and remains
Print news stories that sensationalize and fan the flames
To a mass of people with no ability to discern
What they are really saying is ‘it should have been your child left to burn’
Rather than saying let God’s will be done
They take matters into their own hands and mobilize vigilante armies of one-
Mind and one accord to spread hatred and evil
Never mind the fact that they proliferate, social upheaval
What is there to gain in a world full of hate?
When do we start to realize we MUST seek His Face?
No child should be murdered that is for sure
But what honor do we do him or her by propagating the hate
That caused his or her loss in the first place?
Wake up people, you need to recognize true evil
Exists in this world with no hope of retrieval
Of those who are perishing before our eyes
Our children are suffering; they face their demise
We that’s right we, mankind, black, yellow, purple, white
Are entangled in a battle of spiritual warfare the cost, eternal life
People are so twisted to admit they believe in demons
Yet buck against the notion of God, the one who gave
His everything to save those that belong to Him
The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to His Children
Repent, and Turn away from this untoward generation
Gain wisdom from the Proverbs as taught by King Solomon
Learn to love your brother despite your and his sin
Esteem one another as better than yourself
Quit thinking you are better off than everyone else
Submit yourself to the One True God
Let go of all pride and your need of façade
And be free

Taste my Words

On the tip of my tongue, words lie as if dormant
waiting for their time to come into existence
They are conceived in my mind
and given life when I speak them

In my every breath rests the insight to my very soul
You just can't be a casual listener though
There is feeling behind every word I utter
Use your fingers and easily sift through the clutter

You don't have to dig deep
to see the inner most part of me
I bare it all, transparency
I don't know any other way to be

Read my lips,
there is a method to my madness
Lack of chaos is no indication
of manipulation or clandestine motives
I live like I speak,
free and tempered only by my Liberty
Given by the One who truly delights in me

Speak It

Love and Hate Serious words They have deep meanings But we use them in ways that show We don't fully understand We speak them...
